    A shoddy shop unit is preferable to an empty shop unit. The customers will decide the future of PQ.

    Yes and no, I'd rather a shop be empty than be a "Christmas Shop" or something similar.

    There's 24 units on the outlet floor, they've just announced the first eleven.

    The food court is going to take longer to sort, they've had to apply for 'change of use' for all the units on the bottom floor before they can make them all food units.

    Some have taken up more than one unit but the article does mention others are just needing to sign the dotted line. They need some "younger" brands in.

    The Allams have re-applied to convert the old Rosedowns building into 26 apartments.

    The last time it was rejected, they had another fall-out with HCC (not that they could really fall out much more than they have already).

    The pump house is Grade ll listed, so not easy to demolish, particularly without a replacement scheme.
