Yeah just noticed that. Good on ya. Mental. I'll think about you as Im waiting for the coals to heat up.
Anyone travelling from the west take the turn off for North Cave. The next exit at South Cave everyone is forced off due to the A63 eastbound being shut today and tomorrow between South Cave and Welton. Been bedlam with traffic today, be worse tomorrow with all the Hull 10k traffic.
All the very best, and please remember in this heat, its not just Cardiac risk in the young thats the problem. Keep hydrated, if you don't feel right, stop. Us lot will take the piss but at least you will go home safely to your family. Keep an eye out for your fellow runners/walkers too, it really is too hot to be running, proper Kenyan weather.
I was gonna do it in the near buff. Just my running shoes on my feet & a trainer sock on my tallywacker.
It's all a lie! Ben was rocking a six pack & solid tan when I met him. Blasphemy! Nah okey Good luck mate
Good luck big fella Excellent choice of running on the hottest day since 1976. The ones who aren't used to taking on a gallon of liquids at a time will struggle...whereas you will pound the streets to glory, benefitting from your ability to carry more fluid than them...like a camel (that was not a question by the way !) Seriously though. Take it easy And ideally you should wear something that is well ventilated...anything in fishnet should do the trick
Lazy ****ers ought to park at Cave and jog in if they're so keen on running, so the streets are clear for those of us who need to drive to pub in air conditioned comfort
Another thread It's all about Ben isn't it! Good luck anyway, and don't forget to wear fishnets to let the air flow
