    Bit harsh but i'm inclined to agree, just not with the timeline. The Billy and Albert (Connolly live at the Albert Hall) DVD released in 1987 was the end as far as I was concerned, it was so unfunny as to be almost painful.

    Up to that point he was brilliant but he became a parody of himself, talking about his kids' private schools and such other bollocks. I've never seen a full live show of his since then, only the occasional snippet or clip from a show. He can still be very funny but I'm afraid he's a man out of his time who has forgotten his roots and I would suggest, his core fanbase, the working classes.

    ps When I say "Forgotten" I don't mean because of his dementia.

    A rally has been taking place in Buchanan Street in Glasgow in support of the people of Grenfell Tower.

    Human rights lawyer Aamer Anwar told the crowds: "The bereaved families need truth, accountability and justice.

    "I demand arrests, a criminal trial before a judge and jury... those responsible should be incarcerated for murder.

    "It's not a tragedy, it's a crime. The people in Grenfell died because they were poor."
