2017-18 Kit Leaked!

I would think we could get away with the first kit at those grounds? No?

Yep I am in the same boat as you. My wife has told me, she wants one as well!

 

It's strange that Under Armour, a North American company catering largely to North Americans while sponsoring an English club, does not sell the kit under license anywhere in North America. You'd think that it would make sense for both parties...UA wouldn't have to have a huge inventory, they'd just have to ship from their US facilities, and it'd both benefit them and the #brand they shelled out to market. But to get a shirt, I'd have to either buy it from the team store or some dodgy reseller.

 

If I find it over here, I will let you know.

 

That blue and black away shirt is going to be the first top I've bought myself since the 2003 Cup final.

£50 quid for a scrap of tatty polyester it may be, but that kit is class. Well done Saints.

 

No we don't, but next season we won't be wearing stripes.
I don't think the new shirt, which I saw up close and personal this morning, will clash with blue/black and white stripes.
The ref might think otherwise. But then refs often see things differently to the fans.

 

Its funny, all Saints fans (so the ones who actually count) love it, everyone I've shown it to who isn't a Saints fan hates it. I'm undecided personally, I prefer the away out of the 2 so may get that.

 

Re: the home kit. The white is just an inch or two too wide, otherwise, cracking bit of toast, Gromit.

 

I guess non-Saints fans have no 'sentimental' attatchment to the home kit, as they probably don't remember the 1980s one as fondly....



I imagine Man Utd fans would have the same opinion on collared shirts, after the 1999 one

 

I really like the away strip as well. Am I right in saying that it is the same colours as the 80's away one?

 

Great job Saints and Under Armour, so refreshing creating a design, that's not the boring Adidas, Puma, Umbro etc template.

Yeah I seem to remember Steve Moran in the 80s wearing a nice silky striped blue kit

I still have that kit from when I was 14/15... my lad has been wearing my old red/white one today!!

 

I like the new shirt. I'll wait till this time next year when I can pick it up for 20 quid.
