Hernandez scored over 20 goals last time, he's hardly a sick note. Who hates mcgregor? Never seen anyone say that or ridicule him. The Allams haven't but you seem pretty close.
It's the price you have to pay to get players to sign contracts with 40-50% wage reductions on relegation.
The fickle Mags are no longer calling him the Wunderkind who will tear up the Premier League, with his utter brilliance. He's now a greedy ****er who lacks ambition, and isn't half as good as he thinks he is. And he's unproven. And he lacks integrity and isn't a man of his word. Oh, and he's got a **** agent. Maybe we should stay well clear, he sounds like trouble.
He did indeed. Teams are crying out for strikers,if your sales pitch is right, let's see who fancies him this summer then.
It would be interesting to see wage reduction saving versus player market value against relegation clause. Based on some of the seemingly really low fees quoted for our players - is the 40-50% reduction worth it?
You don't have to. As I said when he last signed a deal he was hardly overflowing with pl offers, we could have refused to put a release clause in.
So far, it looks like the low release figures only apply to the players we weren't overly concerned about at the time they signed their contracts. Chester, Brady, Livermore, Snodgrass and Maguire all seem to have high release clauses. Only Diame's was borderline and I think that without it we probably wouldn't have got him in the first place.
Seems like maguire didn't have one, or else we wouldn't have had a particular valuation of him, as I doubt we put a 20m valuation in when signing him from Sheffield united.
Almost certainly, bearing in mind that we supposedly got him for £3m due to such a clause in his West Ham contract.
We've been down this route before. I've not seen anything from Marshall to suggest he's anywhere near good enough. He has been woeful. Even an ardent Marshall fan would have very little in the way of defending him on some of the goals he's conceded.

We need to sell a GK or maybe two. It’s economically bad to keep three expensive 30 something GKs, all who have a chance of being number 1 somewhere. In terms of economy, I would have thought Jak is on the lowest wage. It’d be good to keep him, Mannion and perhaps sign a freebie GK as No.2. I like McG and Marshall surely has something in him somewhere, but they’re too expensive to have sat around. Perhaps this Jak story will have legs and whilst I'd be sorry to see him go, it'd part solve a problem.
By the same rule BCC... MS and his goalkeeping coach made up there mind about him PDQ... Slutsky as a former goalkeeper might think pretty much the same... He's watched ALL CIty's games and if he's done that, the chances of Marshall being number 1 are slim to no chance.
What do you suggest we do with the other 2 senior keepers earning tens of thousands a week? One of whom won't even be on the bench.
We need to be moving McGregor out, he'd surely have suitors, and I've said for a while Marshall needs a new start, if we have to subsidize it so be it, we're taking a stupid loss on some players as it is.
