If he has a release that's moronic. He's hardly paid enough to have justified one. We shouldn't be releasing release clauses in every player's contract. Particularly given the last time he was signing a new deal he was our second choice keeper.

Lots of ppl linking us with Tammy Abraham this morning... not sure how much is in it. Newcastle were very close to a deal apparently but some say Chelsea would rather send him to Hull to get guaranteed games. Paper talk? who knows.. very good loan signing if its true though.

So far only Maguire and Davies have gone for sure. Jak is supposed to be talking to Lester, not sure if the deal is done. I think those deals are okay for the club. If the likes of Clucas departs then it may start to look a little dodgy, however if the likes of Abraham does comes in (not likely in my estimation, but you never know) and we get a few Chelsea stiffs and players coming back ie Lenihan and Moses then things may not start to look too bad. If we ship out tons more, but don't replace them...then permission to worry..
Would it not be a perfect time to offer Eldin a new deal? Really show intent for next season. Marshall and McGregor will be on a lot more than him. Either take out his release clause or up it (if he has one) and raise his wages to reflect the fact he's number one. Then get rid of one of the other two. We need to keep a Eldin and Jak but we don't neee four goalkeepers. We haven't even got depth like that in any other position.
No, because he's already demonstrated he's simply not up to the task. He needs rejuvenating elsewhere with a clean slate.

He looked gash for the couple of months he played but his confidence was shot by having such a terribly organised defence infront of him. Buying him was an expensive, unnecessary mistake but he was once a keeper of some reputation. Hopefully he'll come good again if we have to reinstate him into the team.
If the Yak goes,then depending on who you rate it don't rate,it could be argued the spine of the first team has al but gone. We have tattoed sick note up front,no Harry and two keepers who the fans either hate or ridicule. Dawson is slowing down and has become injury prone,Dave is still injured to my knowledge and Robbo is a wanted man if you believe all you read. Add to that Hudds must be pinning for his mate at West Brom,Clucas is highly rated and the Allams haven't jumped off the bridge yet so like I say,we really do need a signing or two sharpish Imo.
I think with a new backroom team showing confidence in him he could be a revelation. PotY next season.
