Agreed. I'm a long way from West London but I don't want my High Street going on fire, & will be going full Daily Mail "get the tear gas out guys" if it does. Right now though, I can see why people are angry.

There are a lot of very rich and very poor people living side by side in London. I'm surprised how peaceful it normally is, considering.

Roundabouts fall under council remit and that is why they are not allowed to do the work themselves. They have to, by law offer the work to tender and then give the work to who ever gives them the best quote.
