Im putting forward Mr Marks thread about Spurs spending big to be competing with the big boys as a WFU The same was said last season, We finished second, that does not mean we lack quality. From someone who watches Spurs every week, it is obvious we need to bolster our squad depth. Spending big is not necessarily the answer. It could be, but we never claimed to be Chelsea or City. Our strategy is different, our focus is different, we are funding a stadium. Plus it is a generic statement. every team needs to spend big to be with the big boys, even the big boys need to spend to remain big. claiming WFU based on blindness stemming from bias and the holes are there for all to see. I expect justice from the Not606 legal system and will leave it to the Jury
I'm tempted to give it to you. But I can't award points for retrospective WFU's I'm afraid. So this claim will have to be judged on this season for Spurs. There's also the issue that for spurs to be considered one of the 'big boys' they will at least have to match their achievement from last season to prove that it wasn't a flash in the pan. If spurs don't spend big and manage to get second again or win a trophy then the claim will be verified
