Midfield looks alright even if Sam, Grosicki and Tom go. I'd be happy with Meyler, Evandro and Henricksen plus AN Other. If Daws goes I'd make Meyler captain.
Leonid Slutsky has made his first appointment as Head Coach, which sees Tony Pennock return to the Club to take up the position of First Team Coach. Read more at http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...-up-position-as-first-team-coach-3730901.aspx
Blimey, bit out of the blue. Would be surprised if The Slut had ever heard of him before last week. Further evidence casually thrown into the quotes there that we'll be relying on academy players next season...
It quite possible that we could lose a couple of keepers, Dawson, Clucas, Huddlestone, Grosicki and Hernandez though. There's a lot of work to be done
ffs not that ****ing interviewer again it's why harry left, it's why marco left it's why bruce left fact
I like him. Comes across as a very humble man and someone very grateful for the opportunity. Interestingly he said he wanted to keep hold of some important players. Highlighted central defence 1 maybe 2 and centre forwards 2 as priority areas. Interestingly he said he doesn't have a set system, he uses a system suited to the players he has. Looking forward to the season starting already.
Hoping Clucas is one. He's tied down to a long deal if I remember, so unless a ridiculous bid, I'd be keeping him.
Blimey, that guy's English is good for someone who didn't start learning it until 5 months ago. And liked what he said.
Ehaw ran it past me for Tony P to return, I did the numbers, went for a crap and decided it was a no brainer. So I sent Ehaw a fax (written in crayon) with a contract to colour in and he did the deed. Can't take all the credit obvs, it was Ehaw's idea, he just needed someone to hold his hand and tell him he was a good boy. I believe he is considering Tijani Belaid for the DOF role, unconfirmed at this time though.
I think you are right, think he will not let anyone go who has more than a year left on deal/release clause, or a stupidly high bid is offered
