Dawson was on the decline, shipped out by Spurs. Davies was at the top of his game, on the up and most likely would have been captain for the 2014-15 season. Dawson should have been the one to chill out.
Dawson has always been far better than Davies, Dawson as far as I know never got in a strop about being out of the team the way Davies did so not sure what Dawson needed to chill out about.
I agree Dawson was better than Davies, as I've posted earlier I think he felt he'd been shafted. Dawson had nothing to get in a strop about, decent contract, captain, etc.
I'd say Dawson is a far better player in all areas, especially with the ball at his feet. With Davies, it's incredibly clumsy all the time... I reckon Daws will go too though with Burnley sniffing.
I think they're both a bit ****. Dawson was great 5 or 6 years ago, don't think he's ever been that for us. Seems a top bloke, like. Davies was great for us but hasn't been the same since we signed Dawson.
Can't disagree with any of that. If Dawson went I wouldn't be bothered. Too often injured and time has caught up with him.
If we kept Huddlestone - I think he'd be a decent option for centre half. Carrying the ball - accurate passer. He started out his career as a centre half. That way you can accommodate him and Evandro (If they both stay) in the same team. Two players that can both pass accurately to a team mate.
Huddlestone has been a problem defending, and it's not just his pace. He can be rash, can't anticipate or position as well as a real defender, and isn't as good a header of the ball. Dawson has had some good seasons for us, nearly every City fan would say that.
He's been ok but he's only been with us 3 seasons and he's only played half of each of those. Well, a bit more than half but not a lot more.
huh? simple mathematics shows that the price of an object*1.07 shows a 7% increase.............. no idea where you get your maths from.. ^= squared. but OK
The best compliment you can pay thudd is if you saw his name on the opposite teams sheet? would ya be worried? If the answers yes then? Then we should keep him!
I never said inflation was at 7% I claimed that the £ gets weaker by 7% every year. when you combine food price hikes with petrol hikes, and then electric/gas hikes etc........... <shakes head and walks away>................ you ****ing bright spark.
After 10 years of a continual 7 % inflation rate, the new cost would be approx 97 % more, not 70% more as you suggested. Simple mathematics needs to be applied correctly. At 3 % IR, it would cost 34.4 % more, not 30% more !
