From what I've seen of him I agree. He looks like a rich man's Sol Bamba to me. He was a player that ran out of defence with the ball and was a real fans favourite but he never really did anything with it once he'd made his way up the pitch. I just hope he's a better defender than Sol and from what I've seen he certainly is.
You haven't seen much of him then. I don't doubt he'll get an England call up soon. He's certainly better than some of the other ****e England have tried at centre half and currently still continue to play.
He is no where near the finished article. Still young and learning. Expect him to be an England regular after next season. Needs experienced CB's around to teach him. Think he has gone to the right club. Will be watching his progress.
Ok Bummers. Point being his maraudering runs are great to see and tend to end with an attacking play, whether a shot on target or a good ball played through. If it doesn't end up being something it's generally a comment on our ineptness in attack, or a save from the keeper, but it still creates a clear chance that we tend not to create many of.
Point being that the through ball against Boro wasn't from a marauding run, he was in our own half. In all the marauding runs on GLP's video, they come to nothing. They're great to watch, but rarely achieved anything, as his final ball was usually a pass to the opposition.
Apart from the ones that resulted in him taking a shot, or spraying out wide. The Boro pass was him moving forward with the ball and showing his range of passing as a result.
Indeed, but nobody's claiming he can't pass at all, I'm just saying his marauding runs rarely ever came to anything and they didn't, I didn't know why we're even discussing it.
Each to their own. I think creating clear cut chances is something, you don't, as you say no point discussing it. I think he'll be a cracking player for Leicester regardless.
Agree with this , he is a good player , that is all- all this expectation of Liverpool and Manchester United fighting over him is mental
... that's the market ... would rather pay that for Harry Maguire than £75 million for Virgil van Dijk or £30 million for Jordan Pickford tbh
