Transfer News: Cardiff City are ready to make a shock transfer bid for bitter rivals Swansea's Alan Tate. The deal is set to be worth around £400k and a wage of around £12,000k. If the deal is successful Alan Tate will join up with the Cardiff City team within next 3 weeks .

Where did you see that? I can't imagine "Beaker" playing for Cardiff...

This is a wind-up. No way would Tate consider joining us and there is no way we would seriously consider signing him. I don't even think he is good enough to get in our team anyway...Ashley Williams on the other hand.... :D

More chance of signing Trundle and Hartson as a new fast track attacking duo.

Wouldn't want Tate as long as I've a hole in my ar$e!!!

Apart from his Jack history, Tate has turned into a donkey and is not as good a player as the ones we already have. Silly rumour.

Perhaps it would be a good idea for him to come and mingle with some fans in the Cornwall before a game, just so he can get a feel for the fans <whistle>

    Ace

I'm sure we would give him a "warm" welcome. After all, many opposing fans come to the Cornwall as it is a safe environment.

Would I buy him a pint though, would I f%(k!!!

Transfer wise it has been very quiet at the moment are we putting all our eggs in one basket or waiting for the prem 25 squads to see what loans are available.

T G I Robin, it makes me wonder where you heard this 'hot' transfer news, because when you posted it I was reading the sports pages on line and there wasn't a whisper of it on there, including WOL BBC Sprot and SKY.
so please tell me where you really heard it? I'm seriously interested.

Don't want Beaker. Not sure what he'd add.

In terms of transfer news, I'm not worried that things have gone quiet for us. We've got the bulk of the squad in and can wait for the right opportunity. One or two buys and one or two loans and we are done, with one or two out!

Defo show half time entertainment for the kids looking at the post from HBomb. Just imagine having a Muppet show to go with all the other entertainment. I feel another family club of the year award coming on.LOL

I know he is not coming.
But if he did, I don't care that he played for Swansea. If he came here, and did a job when he was required to do so then I would happily support him. If he was brought here, it means MM must see something in him he wants. So I may not actually want him to come, but if he did I would give him my support.

Obviously a wind up. He's a first team player and he wouldn't come to Cardiff after the flag incident. Also, (I don't know when it was written, but I take it it's fresh news) "If the deal is successful Alan Tate will join up with the Cardiff City team within next 3 weeks ", there is only 2 weeks left in the transfer window.

    Unless he's backup for miller:
