    We lost 6-1 to Orient in the 09/10 pre season and had one of our best ever seasons. Pre season means nowt

    we were 2-0 up and cruising then catermole got sent off against birmingham and they scored in the last minute i think .

    granted we were ****e against west brom, but then we went unbeaten in the next 7 games,

    think thats a prity good start by anyones standards

    taking into account in those 7 games we played villa, arsenal, city,l iverpool and man u

    You laugh, yet it's true. I remember thinking that was the worst I have seen your fans in a derby at the SOS. You started well, but once you knew we were on top and eventually ahead, you never sang once.

    i think you will find it means everything mate its all about getting players match fit and are players have had a lot of game time so thats why i am confident of another good start to the season!!! and if you read my post again it says (NOT TALKING ABOUT RESULTS)

    I'm not going to predict the score for Saturday, it's come very early in the season and we've both had huge changes within our teams. It's a bit early in the week for the anxiety to kick in I'm getting much more chilled these days, I wont panic until friday night. :emoticon-0107-sweat
    If the worst happens and we lose, then I do what I always do, I revert to my self imposed media blackout. No newspapers, no tv news, no sky sports or match of the day.
    I shall continue with my new hobby, internet shopping, perhaps I should boulster my bank balance just in case. :emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash:
