Possibly the worst England squad in my lifetime...There's no genuine top talent; Kane is a finisher and little else to add to the game and Alli is too young still, but they're meant to be our best two players. As others have said, the midfield and defensive options are farcical!

They wouldn't get close to the team even 5 years ago.

 

The team 5, 10 or even 15 years ago did nothing....

If we keep going with filling 11 spots with the so called best players then nothing will change.....he at least appears to be looking to make a team, at the moment not a very good one I admit!

The impression that the team is better is only because the players are ****ter. Players not being the best individually does not mean they will be better team mates!

He's still picking the 'best' players he can, its just that they are nowhere near the class of the squad 5-10 years ago.

 

Heard Stones was **** again.

At what point is his 'talent' going to kick in. 23 now and seems worse than when he was 21, by the time he reaches a CBs peak in his late 20s he'll be playing like a 10year old and just chase the ball round the pitch.

 

Dont think he was terrible. think he got put on his ass once when was sold a dummy by Mpabbe but other than that was just a standard performance. Wasn't really to blame for any of the goals.

 

To be fair talent wise he's brilliant, its just his concentration letting him down. He's got time on his side and all the talent to succeed as a top level centre back.

Still doesn't look physical enough to be a top CB. Up against. If strong cf he'll be bullied

 

Nothing to be ashamed of. We are not on France's level.

At least everyone can go into the world cup next year with the realisation we will at best scrape out if the group stage and then get d!cked by someone

 

They WON’T. The media will big up england afyer qualification and claim with certainty we will reach sf min then all dorget they said any such thing when England dont get out of group
