    Only place I've seen saying about add ons says guaranteed £25m +£5m of add ons based on appearances.

    So it might be £18m initial fee, but the total transfer is £25m (guess that some of its to be paid in instalments), and then another potential £5m on top.

    Essentially, you're going to be paying £30m

    Essentially we're paying £18m up front and the rest based on appearances and success, as reported by an Echo reporter.

    He played for Sunderland last season FFS. Clearly one of there best players along side Defoe.

    Get someone next to Williams and keep the full backs fit and they have a decent defence there.

    Astro is beyond logic when his bitterness kicks in mate.

    Pickford could be our keeper for the next decade plus, the £18-20m base fee could look like peanuts in retrospect.

    You're paying for potential, just like City did with Stones, hoping that his poor results were everyone else's fault

    I'd have thought they'd go for Butland before Pickford, who's got more than one season in the league but there you go .... He looks a prospect but his experience makes him still overpriced even at £18m :undecided:
