I tried the Gin Distilery on Humber St yesterday (after 1884 tapas) They were both very good (although the tapas is quite pricey) Gin was very good. I went for a Black Tomato & fevertree (£6.50) and Mrs Tash went for a rhubarb gin and ginger beer (£6) Both were really good, I'll go again
Really?? I tried the black tomato at the Minerva gin festival t'other week. Didn't like it. Plenty more to choose from I suppose
Yep that's how I had it. Though I am prepared to give it another try. It was the last gin of the day so my tastebuds will have been non existent.
Aah. Don't like salt. That's why I don't like botanist gin either. Maybe I won't then. Off to the neighbours tomorrow for his all afternoon/night party. Reckons he's got his own gin bar, which has swayed me as I don't like him.
angus young @angus_young61 Licensing go-ahead given for Thursday's Street Food Nights in Zebedee's Yard & Princes Dock St, 4pm to 7pm. The new license allows for the events to be held more than once a month. angus young @angus_young61 Last Hull Street Food Nights was cancelled after police objection over potential for terrorist attack in Trinity Square, councillors told. angus young @angus_young61 Police worried about risk posed by several vehicle access points to Trinity Square, apparently. I know they've got to cover their backs, but that seems a little over the top.
Were they acting on received intelligence or a tip off? If not, it's merely a hypothetical threat, like hundreds of similar events. Terrorism winning?

Are many units taken do we know? When I lived in High Street about 15 years ago (yikes) the indoor market was ****e - couple of low end fishmongers, a fruit and veg and that was about it.
