That'll be some forward line, Sanchez, Aguero and Gabriel Jesus. Arsenal have been City's feeder club for a while now, so it won't surprise anybody.
Sanchez to City would be massive news! It severely weakens Arsenal, and moderately strengthens City. If Arsenal end up paying Popeye and Giroud £300k+ in order to bribe them to say, but Sanchez leaves, I can see a dreadful imbalance setting in at Arsenal that could take a decade to undo. Dark times, indeed, for Arsenal.
It's apparently being reported that Costa has said that Conte has told him he's not wanted at Chelsea. I reckon the idea is to replace Costa with Lukaku, for next season. I think it would be a shrewd move for Chavs, as I can see Lukaku scoring a hat-full for them. Costa wasn't bad, but he brings too much baggage with him. Also, I think Lukaku is better.
True. The guy who's saying it has connections to Guardiola. He called a few transfers such as Sane before anybody else. Could be wrong, we'll have to wait and see.
DIEGO COSTA TOLD TO "**** OFF!" BY CONTE Given that Diego Costa simply isn't good enough for club as small as Chavs (in European terms), should he be demanding £200k a week from anyone, let alone a far better club, like A C Milan? Personally, I think he's taking the piss. It would be like Bambi getting sacked from his post-room job for being a twat, only to show up (like a bad smell) on the door step of a far better accountancy firm and with his CV in hand and a demand that they pay him more money! Discuss.
I'll try and find it again, it's now being said by a couple of Chilean sources too. Whether it happens or not, we'll have to wait and see. Edit: this is one report from Chile. It's been quoted in many sources, http://www.teamtalk.com/news/respected-journalist-claims-alexis-sanchez-has-agreed-man-city-move
The Chilean source is a hack for Fox Sports called Fernando Solabarrieta. The Spanish press are probably quoting the same source. I can't find any quotes from Solabarrieta about it though.
The Spanish source was a few days ago. Can't remember his name, but he has well known links to Barca and Guardiola. He's called a few of City's transfers before.
Okay I found it. Gerard Romero He also said that Fabinho was close to signing for City too, although he's reported to be in advanced talks with Utd.
