Progress report: So attempt 1 at making my car's grilles black was an interesting experiment but a fail Got some peelable vinyl paint and auto masking tape from Halfords didn't think it would be very good and it wasn't so I peeled it off as soon as it had dried Gonna go down the buying a new set of grilles avenue I think Hamster isn't dead !!

In the grill... the best thing is primer rattle can and proper spray paint. What effect are you looking for
Well the stuff I had was a satin black finish. Want either matte or gloss black finish on them. Honestly think best thing is get aftermarket grilles then if i get bored of the black the old ones can always go back in. Plus don't want to spoil the original ones by using a permanent spray paint for when i sell the car down the line
Probably you are right. Matte is hard to do right and can look awful otherwise. Whats the alloys? Gloss back all round would be tasty?

I presume they got pushed or claimed whiplash when hitting slide or broke ankle coming off the end. Or didnt fold arms properly and broke arm Or some **** would not take off her heels and impaled some poor ****ers skull Thinking about it those slides are ****ing dangerous.
