I'm thinking Bullshit Johnson will be out of politics within a year and presenting a 10 part series on some TV channel about "Whiskies of the World." After his shambles in the Sikh in Bristol, how can he possibly be give a senior post in politics let alone be considered a future PM?

Tories desperately need a forward thinking leader. Sadly for them it is not coming from within that party. I would suggest recruiting a Conservative from Europe. One person I can think of is Sarkozy to lead them away from the nonsense of Brexit, we all know the concept of Brexit is a complete bollox, and back into the European fold of mainstream Conservatism.

Did 52% of the electorate actually reject a single-market/customs union model then?

As far as I remember it was in or out, no varying degrees of it.

There you go - out it is. Doesn't have to be the hard-brexit model at all.

I think the tories need to decide once and for all that

    A. The empire is dead.
    B. The uk is not a whites only, southern england country.
    C. What exacrly they really stand for.

It is astoynding that old stagers ike john major and ken clarke can sound like paragons of virtue and wise men compared to assholes like gove and johnson.

Imagine in ye olden days how johnson woyld even be taken seriously... at all.. never mind be allowed to LIE to get power.. then be brushed aside.. yet then put into foreign Secretary position.

Irrespective of the rewards to those at the top all tories cream the god damn right wing scum who caused brexit... need shooting.

The european court of human rights is not eu. It was founded after wwii and britain were pround founders. It is OUR gift to europe as a result of our forebears sacrifices. The scym who have abdicated leading it for years and now want to abandon it are disgusting.

The eu citizens flooding the shores are not the ones to worry about. It is astounding that we sae fat lazy slobs like the so called apprentice in hull saying he was voting brexit for better conditions.... when in fact the nhs is run by hiring globally, food production is dependant on labour..... and sadly 90% of issues now occuring woyld be occuring in or out of eu.

Intead of effecring change and leading britain abdicated its role and sent scum like farage to thumb their noses at their eu counterparts

If it were not so damaging id laugh if the eu reamed the uk in pay back.

Thats how it works for everyone else.

You pay to leave cos eu institutions signed up to and sought have to be moved at giant cost.

And like norway, switzerland etc you pay for the huge opportunities the single market represents.

The fact is the global trade outside the eu had better be worth it as i assume uk will now under cut eu on this... thats the only way it makes sense.

Uk must supply us, china.. or whoever cheaper than it could within eu.

Maybe uk can just make and sell arms to the world.. oh wait.. need help from eu countries in design.. oops.

You do realise we are the most stringent followers of European law in Europe I assume?
When it comes to human rights, we were indeed a founder member of the ECHR, unfortunately, like most other things in the European community it has been taken over by people trying to make a name for themselves and has completely lost it's original meaning/function of protecting the most in need.

Complete bollox Diego and you know it! Being a United supporter you should be fully supportive of the EU. Matt Busby defied majority thinking to get United playing in Europe. Manchester is a major EU city and deserves to be part of that. Brexit was devised by the Sun newspaper (Murdoch who is an American citizen and some US guys see the EU as a threat to its world's dominance.) So they spent 30 years printing negative headlines about the EU and it worked.

Systemic failure to lead and influence.

Walk off the park rather than fix things.

Or maybe we could make more money selling to 27 country's at discounted prices than 128+ country's?
I don't know, what do you think?
