Just pointing out that people are not all bad, I obviously don't know the details of your family member, but i've been in a few drunken rucks in my time.

 

Would say that Beefy had an understandably poor view of Beattie...rather than just being biased.

Just under 9 weeks to the start of the new season.

We limp on. We seriously need to start getting a handle on things this summer.

 

James Beattie is my favourite Saints player of all time. Had the pleasure of meeting him once, in the airport the day after we got promoted to the Championship. He chatted away to my brother and I, told us a few stories, hell he even bought us a beer! That's just my own experience of him on which I base my opinion.
