On Saintsweb, one poster said (on hearing that Monk was going to Boro)..'Another manager turns us down'. Where do they get this stuff....I doubt he was under consideration.

I'm certain he wouldn't have been. You don't get upto the level of the 3 overseas managers we've just had and then drop back to championship level management. As to the poster who wrote 'another manager turns us down...' Is he one of those types who posts sarcasm or funnies without a smiley and then expects people to be telepathic as to the mood of his post.?
