Just seen this.

 

Imagine the headlines in The Mail, Express and Sun if Corbyn had formed a coalition with Sinn Fein.

For the record, this is not the Ulster Unionist Party, a sectarian but legitimate political organisation with historic links to the Conservative and Unionist Party; this is the DUP - an extremist organisation with historic links to loyalist terrorists.

 

Labour gain Kensington after 4 recounts

 

That's an astonishing result.

 

Apparently it hasn't been declared yet!

 

All but. The Tory wanted a 5th recount and the Returning Officer said no

 

Prior to this election, I had no idea that recounts were best-five-out-of-nine series.

 

Declared now. Labour gain.

 

That has to be the richest constituency in the UK? One of them anyway. How the hell can the Tories lose that?

Oh well, winner takes all in this ridiculously undemocratic voting system that we have. The one that produces strong decisive government. Ha.!

The irony is certainly not lost on me when Corbyn was pilloried for his lack of being anti-terrorist enough for some Tory newspapers.

I hold my hands up, I didn't until this election.

My point is simply that I, and I am sure many others reading this agree with you 100%, . but it is amazing how many people are not aware of facts like that..

I was thinking a warm pint of Special Brew. The choice of people looking for a touch of wonderment, at the effect a simple sip of said beverage can have, when served warm, on a warm day..... *

Mrs jasper reckons I have eaten a dictionary for dinner.

 

She doesn't have to form an alliance with anyone. She should have had the guts to run as a minority Government or had the wisdom of Merkel and sit down with the major opposition to work a program for the next 5 years for the benefit of the country. But no, our politicians are too stupid for that.

I am really looking forward to Brexit hitting the buffers with hours of the negotiations beginning and our EU partners making full use of the fiesta days and not bother turning up. Time to stuff May and her cronies.
