On reflection I am happier with Slutsky thank Monk. I am sure Monk will be good, but come on, a fat Russian cat rescuer, friends of Abramoic, much more exciting. If anyone had told me what would happen to our club in the last 20 years back in the 1990's they would have been certified. It certainly is never dull in 'Ull
Here is Leonid's family - His wife is 44 and the children range in age from 17 to 5. Typical Russian family who love to sing together.
Just been thinking of who our new leader reminds me of, it's the Russian billionaire in the film 2012.... brother from another mother or separated at birth.. ha ha ..
First training session will demand that all players demonstrate their ability to do the Slav squat correctly - if they cannot do this properly then LS must immediately inform his KGB comrades back in Moscow that Hull City player is probably an AMERIKANSKI SPY.
Hello everybody. With Slutsky appointment I'm as CSKA fan now with your community) Not to come just with greetings wanted to say that transfers from CSKA seems pretty unlikely because our squad is very small and Slutsky is in very good relations with CSKA's owner to take players away without his permission. And as I'm not an expert in Hull City's squad, can someone say which positions need to be strengthened? Can tell about some players in Russia which can come although I suspect there won't be any signings from Slutsky's homeland.
Crystal Palace have held talks with Claudio Ranieri, Sean Dyche, Frank de Boer and Mauricio Pellegrino.
Welcome. We've lost six loan players, released two players, sold one player and expect to sell about five more, so we need players pretty much all over the pitch (other than keepers).
Probably most positions at the rate we're going. Welcome to the forum - I'm pleased with the appointment and it will be interesting to see how he does. What style of football does he like his teams to play?
It's very doubtful to get someone from top-3 of RFPL topscorers (however, I don't know about Hull City's budget), but there's a bunch of good players in Rostov FC which are likely to leave the club because manager K. Berdiyev left club. One of those is striker Dmitry Poloz. So remaining in Rostov FC theme, there's also Aleksandr Erohin, who plays as attacking middlefielder and can play on the wing. If talking about defenders there's Miha Mevlya also from Rostov and Pyotr Zanev from Amkar. Defending middlefielder - Vadim Afonin from Orenburg shown himself vell last season. L.V. Slutsky almost always uses 4-2-3-1 with 2 powerful defencive midfielders who at first must be able to pick up a ball. Forwards in last CSKA seasons were very fast and not tall. Last experiment with tall forward was Lasina Traore and it was sad to see. With more classy teams CSKA was coming with very deep line of defence and all the team playing very defencively, counting on counter-attacks. It was the reason Slutsky was critisized by fans. But partly it was due to very slow defencive line. So CSKA's style is counter-attacks with players going forward depending on class of opponent team.
Thanks for that - excellent English. I'm looking forward to seeing where he brings players from - Russia or Chelsea ( He's good friends with Abramovich)
I don't know who you are talking to, probably yourself; but when you consider how many foriegn players are in the PL its quite a compliment to say he is an average PL player and unsurprising he is considered for his country - although it doesn't stack up for me.
I reckon if you unscrew his upper body there'll be a DoF inside, then a goalkeeping coach, then a physio, then a kit man and finally a ballboy.
