I bet Malaga would be punished for doing something like that too, while Madrid and Barca would get away with it purely because the champions league can't afford banning them from the competition. Have never been to Malaga myself mate, but sounds nice enough, and 288 euro is a bargain to watch a side that could realistically be challenging for the top 4 at the end of the season.

I suppose what they'll have to do is take players from the lesser leagues like France, Germany, Portugal and even Italy. Really surprised they got Toulalan in, so maybe they've got a bit more pulling power than I initially thought. They might even try building for the future and sign young players from South America who have potential like the smaller teams in Europe, like Porto, have been doing for ages.

Malaga itself ain't nice mate, huge sprawling grey and dirty looking city (good nightlife thought), but Marbella & beyond is a short drive, and much more pleasant altogether, the Sultan is building a new marina, like the palm in Dubai, which will no doubt become a footballers haven.

The Porto route may well be the way initially, next weekend i'm home for Sunderland v Newcastle, flu=y back Sun am, and strike permitting, Malaga v Barca Sunday evening.
