Interesting. All my Liverpool supporting mates (and I mean those that go to games) rate Lallana very highly. Lovren was over-priced, but, again according to my sources, come good under Klopp. Clyne is a decent player and didn't cost you the earth.

 

In all honesty, at the time I was most excited about Lambert. I think him and Lallana were a great pairing for you and I'd have loved them to have been given more of a chance with us. In reality Rodgers only played them together twice I think. I'm undecided on Lallana but Klopp loves him so there you go.

 

It's not Liverpool's fault. Ever.

You seem to be wanting to diminish the responsibility of any wrong doing here by Liverpool.... hence not your fault.

I can't see anywhere I've said Liverpool didn't mess this up in fact, quite the opposite, I said we've been amateur hour in our transfer business for too long now.

We all have opinions and they can't be refuted but when you throw 'facts' out there like nothing being in the manc papers and Liverpool being the only club to brag about it etc etc and that's shown to be simply untrue, where do some of you lot go - the well trodden rivals last resort stereotypical remarks. Ah well at least I tried to have a decent conversation - thanks to those who responded in kind

 

These are the posts. You said there was no Liverpool admission. I showed you there was and you chose to ignore it. Fran also showed you. You chose to ignore her.

Remember when Saints were off to Brazil? One more year with that team and we could have had some glory. I genuinely believed Lallana wanted to play here, Lambert wouldn't be worth any big clubs money, and no one would be stupid enough to spunk money on young prospects like Chambers and Shaw. That dream died and I'm happy for Saints to do what ever they can to **** these teams over, especially Liverpool. If the players want a pay rise they can go to Chelsea or City who will pay really silly money.

 

My position is and always has been that the club have messed this up, royally. Did they tap up the player, almost definitely. Did they admit it, no. They issued an airy fairy, say nothing very much, apology. So if you say you showed me their admission, you're going to have to show me again where the club admit tapping up, I missed it.
