Morata now aswell How many forwards does Jose need? Speculation is all well and good Matth, but personally I see no point in discussing or speculating until something more concrete comes along, otherwise, as demonstrated, you will just be discussing buying every player in the world.
By and large the various candidates seem to share the right qualities in their various positions and it seems JM has focussed on strengthening our spine, front to back which, to me, is just what we need. Now the dust has settled and it would seem that De Gea is staying, a strong defender to support Bailly, some steel in midfield to free up Herrera and Pogba plus a 20+ goal a season striker should get us back on the right track.
I'm not sure I remember any prior confidence in Mkhitaryan and Bailly arriving last summer, so I'd imagine that there's gonna be one or two under the radar. The big one of course, the 'Pogba' of this season, surely was Griezmann, it seemed a dead cert, I'm wondering if we'll bother making alternative arrangements and scrap that deal permanently, or wait for him in Jan/next summer. I'm surprised the Thomas Mueller rumours haven't gone into overdrive after Griezmann nailed his colours to the Atletico mast.
For once I agree with Merson - rather then spend go for Morata, put that money towards Kane http://www.skysports.com/football/n...ited-should-sign-harry-kane-not-alvaro-morata
What has Matth got to do with this? The news is all over various headlines. Matth is only sharing what he has seen. Anyway, Alvaro Morata would be an incredible talent to bring into our team. I hope we can seal it.
Apparently you are going to fight Liverpool for Gelson Martins - then again you are linked with every player in existence...
