That has absolutely nothing to do with the point I made about both parties making this about their leaders.

I didn't see much from Labour about the qualities of Corbyn as leader. It was usually about the policies on offer.

You don't think the Labour election campaign was centred around a brave new world under Corbyn?

    Get to ****. <laugh>

Well thats not true at all Obi.

I thought Labour did well to, eventually keep Abbott away from the media, and by keeping McDonnell completely away.

They made it entirely about the personality cult around Corbyn.

No, her vote share increase by 12.2%. It's because despite the ****-smearing by the media because she ****ed up in an interview and said some **** she apologised for and regretted several years ago, she's well-liked by her constituents and grew up in a working-class black family not far from the constituency she's served since 1987, instead of being an upper-middle class toff parachuted into a constituency.

Oh and did all of these lose their status as MP overnight, or were they out campaigning in this election?

I'm not particularly bothered at the result, I'm just laughing at the Tories for losing their majority after their hubris and for my local Tory MP losing his seat to Labour.

No, not really. The Tories' weak minority government will expose them in the Brexit negotiations, Corbyn will still be there with an increase in Labour MPs to rattle them and the government will fail to get **** all done in parliament. The Brexit deal will be so piss-poor people might actually start blaming the Tories instead of the European boogeyman in Brussels and the 'immigrunts takin' our jerrrbs'. All fun and games.

I liken Labour and Corbo's campaign to ours and Silvers.

Silver given no hope and told he was on a sinking ship, like Corbo.

Stabilised the ship and got into a position of hope that the unthinkable could be done.

That the rank outsiders could ,under inspired leadership, pull off a feat of truly epic proportions.

    Then failed.

Unless he was aiming to come second all along.

    Close but no cigar.
