I dont know if this is of interest...

    http://lordashcroftpolls.com/2017/06/result-happen-post-vote-survey/

This is a telling paragraph in this survey, for me at least....

Six in ten of those who said they had voted Leave in the EU referendum backed the Conservatives in the general election; a quarter of leavers voted Labour. Only a quarter of Remain voters voted Conservative; just over half (51%) voted Labour, and a quarter of remainers voted Liberal Democrat.

Unfortunately they've woken up to the gravy train that is England, and have decided that they'd like to stay as part of the Union.

Well she's just won well and truly.

Those Northern Irish folk have agreed to back her. She's off on her way to visit our wonderful Queenie as we speak.

The SNP won a majority of the seats in Scotland. They have an absolute majority. So using OLM's logic, they won the election in Scotland.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when Theresa arrives, head bowed, cap in hand. The Queen offers her a gentle roll of the eyes, saying 'There there Theresa, good luck with your mandate'.

What's the crack up there? That chap on this page said that they can't wriggle another referendum over the border.

    Are they done for?

They did win the election in Scotland, but it's **** all use to them, as it wasn't a Scottish election.

Won what? She has no majority, she has to get the agreement of the DUP for any legislation the Tories put forward and she cannot depend on her own backbenchers to support her proposals on social care, amongst other things. She will continue to collect her salary as Prime Minister though.

On the other hand Corbyn is seen by millions as a credible alternative Prime Minister.

    Of course they did.

Like a Tory won the local election where I live. Or that Labour won where you live.

Like the other 2 examples above, they're part of a union that means they toe the nations line.
Who will also continue to collect his salary as leader of the opposition.

No one party always votes for everything its party puts forward. Indeed, Corbyn was quite happy to vote against anything his party proposed in the main.

Millions also saw May as a credible actual Prime Minister.

    So what's your point?

Theresa May's prediction of a coalition of chaos has come true. In bed with the DUP who are against abortion, deny climate change and are against gay marriage amongst other things. It's going to be a full bed as it's got Donald and the Saudi's in there already. <laugh>

    Strong and stable though <laugh>

Maybe the DUP can help Theresa bring back fox hunting. That burning issue at the top of every voters list of things that urgently need addressing.

No need to panic though, at least Theresa sings to the national anthem. <doh>

Fair play to the youth of today for being arsed.

Interviewing a few geek types in York, they look a bit odd mind but at least they are interested.

When I was that age I was too busy getting pissed and chasing skirt.

If a reporter came up to me back in those days and asked a political question I'd have looked blankly at them and walked off.

    Nowts changed there then.
