It's the KC and the Sunshine Band song "Give it up" Rather than singing"Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah Samir Nasri,Nasri,Samir Nasri" etc etc, some of the more ruffian element of our support were singing "You're a ****,Samir you're a **** nah nah nah" etc etc
So its like the song last year but with a few words changed? I don't think its that bad personally, have heard worse sung about other players. Probably will mean he will leave though.
He hasn't helped himself too in this saga really and I can appreciate that fans are annoyed with him. At the same time 180K a week is a mightily tempting carrot to wave in front of a player. This transfer, like that of Fabregas should have been sorted at the start of the close season so everyone, ourselves included could earnestly prepare for the new season as opposed to still debating while others continue to dither. If he is going, why hasn't he gone by now? I thought the sale price had been agreed so what are we waiting for? I firmly believe that despite the incoming FFP regulations, there should be a contracts and salaries policy in the game which limits the amount clubs can offer to purchase players and a ceiling on salaries so as to discourage poaching. Can't see it happening mind you.
