I don't know what I'd do without the power to look up random bits of trivia like that. I try not to be one of those people on their phones at all times, but it's nigh-impossible to resist the temptation to know.

You Me both. I still do it on my PC mainly, simply because it's faster. But when I'm out and about, with friends, in a pub, or on the way to any odd destination, my phone gets hammered with enquiries because I'm always wanting to know the answer to some particular question. Often because a mate will ask me to look things up.!
One commentator has suggested that the worst thing Theresa May has done in her life is NOT to have run through a wheat field any longer.
While Scotland may have saved the Tories, I think London may have not forgiven Boris Johnson for Brexit, and have therefore turned out against the Tories. Just my idea.
Compared to if those seats were held by the SDLP, which might work with a left-leaning coalition. Lowers the threshold for the Conservatives having a de facto majority.
Schad is right. Sinn Fein refuse to take their seats and attend parliament. If they win 7 seats that makes only 643 MPs actually in parliament (642 when you discount the Speaker) so you only need 321/322 seats for a majority. It looks as though the Conservatives will be close enough to 322 that they can govern with the help of the DUP, who have 10 seats so far.
