I do like the SNP, and their MPs have been fantastic in Westminster - Tories playing independence card well north of the border.
Hmmm... 68% turnout in Llanelli - I'm surprised that it's not higher but seeing as she's got over 12,000 majority from the Conservative, it doesn't really matter!
Just to say, I think Peter Hain is a great politician - had an incredible life fighting for equality here, and in apartheid South Africa. Great views on Brexit too.
Can you tell those of us on the other side of the pond how to get to a point where 68% turnout is disappointing? We just had a provincial election with turnout in the low 50s...
UKIP are losing a huge number of votes in Wales. Oh dear. What a shame. Hopefully Neil Hamilton will now bugger off back to England and stop pretending that he cares a damn about Wales.
What gives me wonderful optimism, is if the young turnout, things really can change positively in this country.
I'm pretty sure that it's usually in the low 70's for a general election and I really thought it would be higher. Believe me, it's not usually that high for local councillor elections, probably nearer your 50%
Tories facing a total wipe out in London. How can a party with no seats at all in the capital form a government in Westminster?
Looks like we may well be heading for a short, chaotic Parliament and probably another election this year.
We got 68% federally in 2015, and that was a huge leap...highest turnout since 1993. Dipped below 60% less than a decade ago.
