this Champions Trophy has a contest that it so badly needs. Pakistan are being all Pakistan - awful one day, excellent the next. South Africa are being all South Africa - the strange knack of being scared of their own shadow.

Interesting listening to Simon Hughes on TMS , he says India are good , but their lack of flexibility , allows teams to fancy beating them .

He say's India got found out today .

Their bowling was pretty unimaginative, and some of their fielding was atrocious. If we end up playing them I'd fancy chasing any total they set, but we'd have to bat second!

Are you Simon Hughes in Disguise ? Because that's what he said , also some of their bat's men don't do so well on English Pitches .

    *** Far more importantly though , What's the Cat called ? ( Your avatar ) , and who is He/she yours ? ***

Nah, the full name's just a joke really. He thinks he's king so we take the piss! We have 6 cats altogether, he's the oldest by a couple of years and always makes sure the younger ones eat first!

Toby , The Cream British short hair . Breeder said as we were first buyer of a Kitten of that litter , got to choose the theme of that litter . So Mrs Jasper Thought " Chocolate "

He is called Toby , the name on his certificate is " Tidemill Tobylerone " I kid you not !

    Tidemill being the breeder .

Anyway , shame St Helen won't read this , we'd be here all night !

As a pet lover, I would like to share a little tale with you, and anyone interested. I was bringing my kids back home with my dog, a 50kg Akita called BOB. The school is in the mountains of Bogota and we use a park that drops 200m along a pathway. Bob slipped on loose soil and was crying and holding his front right paw in the air. He hobbled back home and we gave him hot and cold foot baths to keep the swelling down. That night we took him for an xray which revealed no broken bones, we put the paw in a human wrist support and gave him a few days. He was still hobbling after 3 days so off we went to the vet who said his ligaments were shot, he would take him there and operate the next day, recovery could be 6 months with his leg in plaster, maybe longer as he is 10 and a big heavy dog. Even if all went well he might only get 60% activity back and it is a painful recovery. We took him home to think of our options, would it be right to put him through that pain at his age?
A friend told us of a lady who does acupuncture for animals so we thought give it a go, just to relieve his pain abit.
The lady doc started at the toes of his bad foot and worked until she found pain, it ends up he pulled a muscle at the top of his shoulder, his foot was swollen but not the cause of the limping. A full xray showed no spinal or bone damage.
After 6 treatments and 3 weeks later he is about 90 % fixed, he still gets a twinge when playing silly buggers. From now on if any thing goes wrong with him he is off to this lady first. I was a total skeptic , but i feel lucky that we gave this lady a chance, we were so close to ruining Bobs life.

The things we do for pets. One of our bunnies had a dislocated hip and knee, one of his rear legs pointing the wrong way. You don't even want to know how much we spent. He was only 6 months old and adapted really quickly. He sprints around on the one good one!!
