I watched Italy earlier on and they looked a very talented side to be honest. Been a bit hitty missy so far but typically are doing enough.
Just going by the commentary, Woodman seems to have had a very big game. Armstrong didn't get much of a mention.
Arma was fairly poor, worked hard but England were a bit one dimensional at times. Woodman had another good game. The lad looks a cracking prospect. Had a dodgy moment early doors with a misplaced pass, but that aside he was good and made a couple of crucial saves. Been very impressed with Englands defenders throughout the tournament (I think they are all Chelsea and Everton youngsters?) Lewis Cook has been a bit of a standout in midfield. Be surprised if he is not more involved for Bournemouth in the near future.
This Lewis Cook has impressed throughout the tournament. I'd love to have him in our midfield. No doubt he will be a big player for Bournemouth next season.
A bit disappointed that the BBC* news feed petered out after 1-1. Not very professional. *Blyth's Biggest ****
Blyth? Blyth?! I am not from the drug capital of Northumberland! You deserve to be strung up and have Trev cut off your testicles for such remarks.
Don't bank on it. Venezuela basically invested an entire country's wealth into it's youth football team. Wrote off the seniors and decided to put everything into the kids. Their keeper is considered a star in the making. Bloke's 5'9".....
Of course there is a third link with Paul Simpson the coach. He along with Cathro worked under McClarens ill fated reign!
1-0 HT Good game so far. England the better team but Venezuela full of individuals who can produce match winning moments.
Some hit from the Venezuelan lad for the free kick off the post http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/foo...2 mins&ns_fee=0#post_593d1c49e4b0831b670309e3
