Cheers Stick and thanks to SBC For Vincents Forever - I'll check then out in the sain siddden paddock later - looks like the going will defo be soft ... thanks again
Oops - I meant to say - rain sodden .... the thrill of voting has clearly unhinged my typing equilibrium ....
So - first selections without seeing them later - MISTER UNIVERSUM - IORA GLAS / CHARLIE MON (going may rule this one out) - BE MY SEA .... lots more homework to do and no doubt will be told later "could do better' - have a great day guys and remember - vote early vote often
My regular readers will be delighted to hear that I’ve exercised my prerogative this morn. And this evening I’m going to go out and vote. BOOM BOOM! No, no, no, no, no. Today is not a day for jolly jokes and bad double entendres. It’s a day to exercise our democratic privilege and make the correct decision, people. And as I sang when I placed my ballot paper in the voting box, ‘Send her victorious. Happy and glorious. Long to reign over us. God save, Mrs May.’ Make the right choice, pilgrims. And for today only I mean re the General Election not the gee-gee racing...
Took my 4 year old with me to the voting station, prior to dropping him off at nursery and then on to the office; need I say more? Now, on to my good friend Ekbalco99 and the trip to rain-sodden Wrexham. Here's my Bangor on Dee selections for you, so perhaps one's to avoid 2.20 Mister Universum 2.50 Whos De Baby 3.20 Barry's Jack / Good Tradition, though leaning towards the former 3.50 Oscar O'scar ( nothing else inspires confidence, so why not, at a good price? ) 4.20 Princess Roania 4.50 Twentyoneblackjack ( from 14/1 to 8/1 already this morning on BET365 ) Good Luck and have a great afternoon Here's your weather forecast from the BBC: " Heavy rain and stronger winds will ease later in the morning and skies will brighten up, bringing some dry sunny spells during the afternoon but also a few heavy and perhaps thundery showers. "
Have a great day El Boloko and have a pint for me! Was at Bangor the day Sharon Murgatroyde had her nasty accident. Looked very bad at the time, and so it proved to be. There was no roof covering the "grandstand there then, so not nice in the rain. Seem to remember having to pay a farmer to tow dads car out of the car park (field) too!! Only one I fancy there today. Can't remember the name, but trained by a G. Hamner in the chase. Been running well in points I believe. Good luck.
Bredan Bracken 4/1 6.50 Leopardstown Looks a decent bet against the unexposed fav. Won the Lincolnshire and ran well against Minding. Looks a big price on that form. Eziyra 9/4 7.25 Leopardstown Should be clear fav in this probably should be close to evens. It's her first run of the season if she needs it so be it, if she doesn't she wins. Dancing Breeze 13/2 7.00 Sandown She won well on her debut but her run in a listed race wasn't up to scratch. Dropped into a handicap might help her settle a little better. If she does settle she should go very close. Titi Makfi 11/4 8.40 Sandown Looked to have a lot to spare off a mark of 70 in her first run of the season last week. She looks well in off a six pound penalty.
These two came up on my tracker for Carlisle today. Made a note of them three or four runs ago but glad I did not mention either of them the last time they ran. Better not risk it this time as one of them might surprise me, although not too confident: 20:50 Someone Exciting 21:20 Popsies Joy
Have had an ew play on GREAT WHITE SHARK 8.05 Sandown as some rather tipsy guy was banging on about it earlier in the bookies. Only Fanshawe runner etc and has been nibbled at from 20's.
Good work Doalittle. Good night for David Spratt as his colours were twice carried over the line in front with your pick Brendan Bracken and the often frustrating Automated who won for Gordon Elliott.
Looked like they rode Eziyra as a "she either does it or at least it will be a good piece of work" kind of ride. Smullen put her in the worst position the whole trip and it looked more a school/fitness run with the rest of Summer in mind.
Taught the same myself. The Filly who won the first looked impressive. She wasn't given a hard ride either just hands and keels. Could be winning some nice races at the end of the year.
I was just sitting down for the spuds as they were saying how impressive that one was, missed the race itself. Beautifully bred anyway so likely has a nice future. New spuds 9.5/10 too incase anyone was wondering
