Just looked at a few pages on the Liverpool site, and some of them really don't realise just how good VVD is. Shame is that those who can try and buy him do realise he is the best CB in the EPL.
VVD flipping out eh ? If true perhaps we could choose a captain who actually has an ounce of respect for the club (and by extension it's fans)
We've got to mend this now. He is our captain, and is an outstanding player. Don't be cutting off ya nose just yet.......

He will either go or he will come round and accept he's here for the duration....but the important thing is that it isn't to Liverpool. The Telegraph is reporting that Saints and Liverpool had a meeting today....probably agreeing on the wording that we would find acceptable. The 'ending of interest in VVD' was probably inserted at our insistence. Some fans are suggesting that this isn't the end of it, but I think it is....they wanted Virgil, but he isn't the be all and end all of LFC.

Keep your head down Virgil, do your best for our club for the next Entire season, you will go with your head held high and our respect. The world is your oyster, we all know that. Just be sensible for now OK? Speak to Morgan or Dejan if you want to know which path to take.......
One more season with us, and he will be totally out of their league. I hope from today, it makes it far more difficult for them to contact us about players availability. If this makes them just slightly more uncomfortable, then its a good thing. We need a strong gaffer in place soon though, this can't go on. I can feel the rumblings of discontent from here.
