They're already banned from signing youth players, for tapping a kid from Stoke. **** all will happen, though.
I'll repeat what I said on our board. No chance of it happening, but if they actually got a transfer ban... I think I'd take a day off work, drive to Liverpool and literally soil myself outside Anfield.
We reported Liverpool to the Premier League in 2008 when they tapped up Robbie Keane. They told us to deal with it ourselves. The tossers ended up apologising publicly and donating to our charity, in order to get the matter dropped. Sounded like a good deal for them, at the time, but having admitted it in the past probably goes against them now. There'll be absolutely no interest in pursuing this though, I'm afraid. They'll probably tap up Bertrand while they're at it, too.
Absolutely not. We just remembered that we had left something in the oven and had to take it out rather than bid on him.
****ing hell. What sort of club taps up a player, gets caught and has to publicly apologise for it? Apart from when Liverpool did it when Clint Dempsey was at Fulham. And Robbie Keane at Spurs. And that kid at Stoke...
