FC Porto accuse Southampton of tapping-up Iker Casillas. please log in to view this image Posted 07 Jun 2017 by Sara Davidson. TODAY, FC Porto manager Rui Barros blasted Southampton over what he called a 'blatant attempt' at tapping up Iker Casillas. During a press conference this morning, the FC Porto boss said that it was 'disgraceful' that Southampton were able to contact the former Real Madrid shot-stopper without first gaining permission from the club. The statements come on the back of earlier reports that Southampton had a €8 million bid for the player
That's true. Can we interest you in Romanian International cb Florin Gardos? You can have him for just £20m
Not that bothered about that tbh. All clubs break transfer rules imo, we just got caught this time. Spending £40m on Van Dickface would have be catastrophic, never mind the £50m-£75m rumours!
Can't read it any other way. There's no way we'd make such an embarassing statement if we didn't know Soton had us by the googlies.
So now that the Robben joke is old I guess @Jimmy Squarefoot is the new @Red Hadron Collider Battle of the ITKs Lovern to the rescue then
Exactly. Why else would you issue a statement apologising to the 'board of directors and fans of Southampton'
Don't know why you're so chuffed. No bidding war so you'll end up selling him to City for a bag of nuts and an A-Z of Portsmouth.
The bitterness is strong in this one Yeah he will still go, just funny how quickly you lot had to shuffle back with your tail betweem your legs. Wonder if the board are pissed with Klopp?
