The correct answer is the Oranges. Whoever has them wins most of the time

Just watched the December review video on OS.

Still can't believe Yoshida's header against Beer Sheva doesn't go in

We sit in line with that post and thought the same at the time
Such tiny margins seemed to have affected us a lot this season

Popped in The Red Lion in Bitterne last night for a meal [nice pub and eatery] and who was there, on the phone and eating a hearty steak, but Martín Cáceres. I was in doubts as I went in one direction to the loo, but when I came out again he had 3 or 4 people milling around asking for his autograph. No, he wasn't just paying his bill. :)

Everyone knows that people talk to people about transfers....testing the water. What Saints are saying is that Liverpool have overstepped the mark....there is a difference between an agent being told of an interest and a manager bending the ear of a player (who up till that point had not been agitating for a move). For all those Liverpool fans crying foul, I wonder if they would be happy with their best player meeting the manager of Manchester United for a cosy chat.

Oriol knows it's best to get as far a way as possible from Southampton in the summer

Caceres in a JD! We can't have been paying him much. Has he rented a flat in Thornhill?

You are indeed correct. Interestingly (well not really) on the way to Wembley on the coach I was listening to a Podcast "The Infinite Monkey Cage" with Prof Brian Cox. They had a stats person on and they said the way to win monopoly is the oranges and the greens. It's down to the fact that when you roll two die you are more likely to roll a number over 6. For example to roll a 2 there is only one way (1 & 1). To roll a three two ways 1 & 2, and 2 & 1. To roll a six you can do 1 & 5, 2 & 4, 3 & 3, 4 & 2, 1 & 5. Apparently, this means you are less likely to land on Mayfair. There is some truth in it. :)

Tbf, it was quite reasonable surroundings as the place has been recently decorated. And being a South American, he probably likes his steak [sweeping generalisation there, but what the hell]. I noted it was the 14oz Aberdeen Angus jobbie, because I'd just ordered the same. I had the Jack Daniels Tennessee Honeyglaze sauce with mine. Quite scrummy with a pint or two of good stout. I've never been a huge red meat eater, but I will make the occasional exception.

Blimey, Nepal. Fair play with the cultural education. As someone said, most players would head for the beach. But Oriol is not one of those 'most players', and I like him just a little bit more for that.
