The last time they deservedly got voted out of office they left a note for the tories saying "Ha ha we've spent all the money, there's none left" that is a fact!

Corbyn is a terrorist sympathising ****..

The unions wait, rubbing there hands in glee, the country will come to a standstill like it did overtime a far left wing Government gets in.. I have seen and heard all the bullshit promises before.

Your quote is bullshit, covered by who??

For those of you reciting the 'Tories defend the rich' argument, read this. It's worth it, I assure you.

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to £100...

If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this...

The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.

    The fifth would pay £1.

    The sixth would pay £3.

    The seventh would pay £7..

    The eighth would pay £12.

    The ninth would pay £18.

The tenth man (the richest) would pay £59.

So, that's what they decided to do..

The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve ball.

"Since you are all such good customers," he said, "I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by £20". Drinks for the ten men would now cost just £80.

The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes.

So the first four men were unaffected.

They would still drink for free. But what about the other six men?

    The paying customers?

How could they divide the £20 windfall so that everyone would get his fair share?

They realised that £20 divided by six is £3.33. But if they

subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer.

So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by a higher percentage the poorer he was, to follow the principle of the tax system they had been using, and he proceeded to work out the amounts he suggested that each should now pay.

And so the fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% saving).

The sixth now paid £2 instead of £3 (33% saving).

The seventh now paid £5 instead of £7 (28% saving).

The eighth now paid £9 instead of £12 (25% saving).

The ninth now paid £14 instead of £18 (22% saving).

The tenth now paid £49 instead of £59 (16% saving).

Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to drink for free. But, once outside the bar, the men began to compare their savings.

"I only got a pound out of the £20 saving," declared the sixth man.

He pointed to the tenth man,"but he got £10!"

"Yeah, that's right," exclaimed the fifth man. "I only saved a pound too. It's unfair that he got ten times more benefit than me!"

"That's true!" shouted the seventh man. "Why should he get £10 back, when I got only £2? The wealthy get all the breaks!"

"Wait a minute," yelled the first four men in unison, "we didn't get anything at all. This new tax system exploits the poor!"

The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up.

The next night the tenth man didn't show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had their beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn't have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill!

And that, boys and girls, journalists and government ministers, is how our tax system works.

The people who already pay the highest taxes will naturally get the most benefit from a tax reduction.

Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore.

In fact, they might start drinking overseas, where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.

<laugh> now all that's needed is to take half of the beer away from the poorest, charge them money for it and steal the bar stool from under their feet, then after falling heavy on their ass and injuring themselves, make them wait 13 hours in a+e to receive help.

I would of thought being self employed Banksy you would be a bit worried with the tories.

Plus don't these two look like friends. It's always a wonder why she throws the photo of Jezza & Jerry about.

NHS do you really think any politician will care about it? They won't ever use it. As will they not worry about their pension fund like the rest of us.
Heat or Eat? When will they all have to make this choice? After all they have their well paid jobs and are still allowed to claim on second homes, plus they get a £64 daily allowance on dinners. Who many of us have actually spent that on ourselves for a meal?
When they rolled out the smoking ban, the private clubs that they was members in, was allowed to carry on whilst the rest had to adhere to it.

I will vote, but to be honest all the parties can't be trusted

Yes banksy, I clearly did. You've copied and pasted a fairly simple text. The writer of it then clearly adds a summary at the end. If it makes you feel smart that you understand it then fair play. It's really not that difficult to follow.

Wasn't 13 hours but had to wait 9 hours last year with my nan, whilst she was ill, for a bed to become available. My cousin is a nurse at the BRI and is constantly telling us how understaffed and overworked they are, but they manage. I suppose that's enough for a Tory government. I won't critise the hosipital as they we're clearly ran off their feet. I will critise the reasons why though...

As you were. Vote labour <ok>

Who are you voting for ROD.

You're right, they'll tell us everything we want to hear in order to get elected. Or in the conservatives case they'll constantly hate on the biggest threats leader and hope that all the big newspapers scaremongering works. Honestly think 80% of May's campaigning has been attacks on Corbyn instead of focusing on her own manifesto, which she knows it **** and has avoided public leader debates. A weak woman with a weak policy.

I find it a bit disturbing mate that you mention this brainwashing as if it's the left that has the problem. 80% of our papers are owned by 5 people (one of whom also owns Sky News as we all know), all pushing the same pro-Tory message. And yet it's us that's being brainwashed.

I don't want to fall out with anyone on here, I just want to push my views strongly (happy to forget about all of this in other threads), but this muppet older generation who believe everything in the papers and refuse to question anything are about to **** us over the next 2 decades.

You can bet that Corbyn will use it. Whatever you think of him, he's a man of principle. Pretty sure he only claimed a few quid in expenses for an ink cartridge at one point while other politicians were claiming for multiple houses.

Oh come on. But you trust Theresa May? You trust a party that is being driven by the propaganda in the tabloids (and we all know how **** they are). You trust a politician who has awarded multi-million pound government contracts to her husband? You trust a home secretary who is 'all in it together', but has 2 offshore bank accounts in the Bahamas?

You're (presumably) supporting a 'leader' who refuses to debate, probably because deep down she knows her policies are actually the result of heavy lobbying which means she can't actually defend them at heart.

    It's complete fecking hypocrisy mate.
