He would have had a stormer if he was playing for us on saturday with the way we were launching the ball to Ba an Ameobi...

I think eventually he will turn out good for them just going to take time, however the way Liverpool play and the expectations do not help one bit, i think a few seasons will be needed to get him ready

Liverpool should just cut their losses and sell him back to us for £3.5m...

I really hate admitting it but if we'd had Obertan playing off Carroll rather than Shola I think we'd have scored a couple yesterday and won. Shola won nowt in the air but if AC had played then Obertan would have been one on one 3 or 4 times.

He looked like he was really up for it and Sunderland were well aware of his presence.

One report I read yesterday gave him a 7/10 rating -he wasn't that good, but he wasn't all that bad either and we have all seen, he can be a a very good player. Will he ever be a 35 million quid player? -doubt it.

Was directed here from our board so not trying to butt in, but not all of us expect him to be that big £35mil target man straight away. Before he signed i know some Newcastle fans who understood he has more to his game than his size, which is why i'm not worried about him at the moment.

Some of our idiot fans are saying 'should have gotten Aguero' and such like, ignoring his £200k a week wages and the fact he wanted CL football, but some of us are very happy with our lot. It still remains that he's hardly played any games with Suarez (and when he did he wasn't fit), and even less games with all the other signings that started on Saturday. I saw a stat that said he competed in 9 aerial 'duels' on Saturday against Sunderland and won... 9! He worked hard, and if his goal hadn't have been disallowed then none of the pundits would be sticking the boot in.

Anyway cheers for the interesting views, but as a Liverpool fan given that he has plenty of potential to fulfill, our whole side is bedding in, and Kenny is still trying to undo 6 months of long ball under Hodgson (not forgetting Carragher's keenness to apply it), then it's always going to take time. When he lines up for England you guys should still be proud of him, even if it's a ****ty situation in the meantime.

In a way he's right, you know

AC may have sold out like a money grabbing little tit but we still made him exactly what Liverpool paid the most any club has ever paid for a British striker. We created him in our direst hour of need and we should be proud of it
