Sources in Turkey are convinced Janssen & Wimmer are headed to Galatasaray in a double deal.

Sources in Turkey which have consistently been wrong when reporting transfer stories involving Spurs.

Sources in Turkey really should stick to reporting the weather, because looking out the window is about their level of journalism.

“That transfer talk is part of football, all the speculation builds towards the end of every season. It is always nice to be talked about in a positive way, because it means you are doing something right. I would rather that than be getting bad press. But I do not take too much notice of it. I am a Bournemouth player and I am planning to have a nice holiday now, then come back here next season.” - Adam Smith

Funny how that's being presented as proof that he won't be headed to Spurs this summer and will likely kill that story dead, yet when our players make similar comments they're ignored within three days for the next bit of clickbait...

Matthias Ginter was on the verge of a £13m move to Hoffenheim before Tuchel left Dortmund, and now he's saying he'll talk with the new manager before making a final decision.

    Worth a punt?

Looks like we can cross Patrik Schick off the list, as he's said in the most diplomatic manner possible (and, no, that isn't me being sarcastic) that he's likely to be a Juventus player by the weekend.

Anyone seen this Argentinian Sebastian Driussi play? We are being linked to him on a couple of websites. River Plate have supposedly turned down an offer of 11M from Marseille.

From the clips I've seen he reminds me quite a bit of Son as he's got the directness and workrate, but with a much better first touch.

However, it's worth remembering that we seem to be linked with at least one Argentine prospect every year (last year it was Jonathan Calleri and Lucas Alario) and it never gets beyond the rumour stage - although one thing in Druissi's favour is that, as he's been at River Plate his entire career, that likely means we'd avoid the third party shenanigans that blight moves for a lot of South American prospects.

We're being linked with Bolton midfielder Max Broughton, but there's one small problem: I don't think he actually exists.

There's no mention of him on Bolton's website, there's no mention of him on The FA's website (even though he's supposedly been called up to the England youth squads), there's no mention of him on Transfermarkt...can anyone confirm or deny the existence of this player?

He was signed from Rossendale Utd and there's a mention of him in this local news piece from 2014:
    http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/11519333.display/

"Clitheroe Wolves lost top spot after losing for the first time this season, losing 3-0 at Rossendale United Lads with Brennan Boys, Max Broughton and Luke Harris getting the goals."

He does seem rather elusive though, doesn't he?

Our supposed ITKs don't seem to have the foggiest about our targets, at the moment.
There's the usual vague prophecies of incoming players, but they seem to have virtually admitted defeat.
I'm not sure if Levy's really tightened up the leaks or if there's just nothing to leak.

I'm not expecting a hell of a lot of movement in this window, barring a few youngsters and replacing any departures.
Even if we were to move on Sissoko or Vorm, perhaps, then I'm not sure we'd do much in the transfer market.
Lopez will probably sign, but I can see spaces being left for Winks, Onomah, Edwards, etc.

I think Janssen should be given another season. Sessegnon to come in as cover for Davies, especially if Rose is moved on. KWP to cover Trippier if Bonzo leaves. Move on Sissoko, GKN and bring in another striker.

That would be a weakened squad. No way that would happen imo.

I live in naive hope that the sad end of Tiote will cause Sissoko to
pull his finger out and play for Spurs to his utter best.

There's no way we can sell anyone from the defence in addition to Kyle Walker, if he goes. Especially, not Danny Rose. We need to retain as much pace as possible because we don't have that much to start with. If Kyle goes, we need to bring in pace on that right side.

Currently, we have Trippier and maybe Lamela. That's not good enough at the top level. On the basis that Sissoko leaves and Edwards isn't ready to start big games, we have to buy for that side. I'd be happy with a right sided player and a really top attacking option. We can get by elsewhere if we have to and we will have to do so somewhere, due to budgetary limitations.
