You say that, but revenue allows you to borrow more money at Lowe rate and most companies have a bit of debt to allow business to grow so although yes profit is important, football is different to most business as owners only really make money when selling the club rather than year to year profit.

Way, way off the mark. He's superb. We've watched both him and Alderweireld, and VVD is better (marginally, but he is).

See I wouldn't go that far just yet. For me Toby is the best in the league quite comfortably. Reckon Virgil can overtake him though.
It makes a great change to see Klopp using our CL spot to actually attract quality players. Admittedly under different circumstances but Rodgers could never have pulled off the level of players we're now managing to attract. VVD is a huge coup if we sign him as he would have actually turned down Chelsea and City to join us. Increasing revenues, new stand, CL, Klopp, new brand of football, transfers now taking off - the future looks decent.
TBF, Salah's already ****ed us over once. Can't say I'd be too disappointed if we didn't get Van Dickface. Far too much money imo, bound to be better abroad for much less
TBF you haven't attracted anybody yet and you are linked with good players every year. Salah looks quite promising though if you meet the asking price.
