They don't have much of a chance then. They have:
Nunez- Someone that good that he couldn't get into their team last year and was subsequently loaned out to Scunthorpe
Snodgrass- Who is the only one of their players that actually worries me
Paynter- Do I need to say anything?
And McCormack- Who maybe decent but he's more of a winger than a striker imo.

Their real attacking threats are all out. I'm not worried about picking up a win tomorrow.

Yes, it's totally unfeasible that Nunez couldn't really get in the team because our other attacking players were playing so well.

And you are, for some reason (and persistently), overlooking Lloyd Sam. Most of our goals come from midfield, and I'd be hard pushed to say Nunez Sam and Snodgrass is any weaker a combination than Gradel Howson and Snodgrass.

Oh and I forgot about Adam Clayton. He's pure class no matter what you think. "OH BUT HE PLAYED **** AGAINST SOUTHAMPTON BLAH BLAH BLAH" so did the entire team, so don't even start with that ****e.

Im sick of hearing that paynter is our main striker, last time i checked he was 5th choice....Hull fans are kinda sounding a bit pathetic in this thread tbh. They keep saying they are gonna walk it coz leeds dont have quality and saying brady is the best thing since sliced bread. I said its gonna be an even game because that was my genuine prediction but now **** it...

Leeds are gonna win 5-0 because Hull City are ****ing **** and have no quality whatsoever. HAHAHAHA everytime i think of Fryatt, i just laugh, hes ****ing ****, you hull city lot have got no chance.

They also seem to be forgetting that we have signed a striker as well

Yes, they were key players because you didn't have any better, and still don't. You haven't replaced them with better, not at all. In fact they've all left onto better sides.

Yeah, it's that mid table piss poor ****e that we only finished 4 places and 7 points behind you last season, before the summer when we've got stronger with a decent sized squad and you've gotten weaker with a very thin squad. I know because your team were good 30 years ago, you still think that you're good, but if you actually look at the squads, the stats and then the players that are available to play tomorrow, you can't argue that you don't have much of a chance no matter how thick and delusional you are.

Nah that ain't gunna happen. "all our attacking threats are out with injury or suspension".

There's a little part of me that wants to see Aidy White get his first start this season on the left wing in place of Gradel, and then see him make an absolute mockery of their right back and set up 2 goals for us. Just to rub it in that we have more attacking quality on the bog roll we use to wipe our arses than they do in their whole squad.

Sigh, none of you people seem to realise that Paynter will be your main striker, because all of your other ones are injured or out. Therefore our fans aren't scared of your "attacking quality" because you don't really have any.

You didnt watch leeds if you think kilkenny and johson were key to our season, they were the weak links. They were always gonna be replaced this season regardless and they have been replaced by better. Clayton who does what both kilkenny and johnson did and brown who actually is going to protect the defense unlike johnson. We have improved this year, theres no doubt about it. Lonergan who has been signed and definitely looks better than schmeichal.

You 've got nothing, seriously your just trying to prove leeds fans wrong about the leeds team you know nothing about

OK, if you seriously expect paynter to even be on the bench tommorow, your in for a shock......<doh>

Except for the fact keogh will be starting, mccormack will also be ahead of paynter and becchio is expected back in about 2 weeks time

We have plenty of chance, we still have plenty of amazing attacking quality and Clayton genuinely does do all the things that Johnson and Kilkenny did put together. Schmeichel isn't worth mentioning.

you're delusional if you think that away from home you're going to walk a game at an extremely tough venue against a team that regardless of whatever you think you know about our players, we still have plenty of quality. You're actually talking as if you're Barcelona playing against Eastborne Borough. It's ****ing pathetic like your team.

As for finishing 7 points behind us last season, pretty piss poor attempt at a season considering how much more money you had with parachute payments. You're all just sad cases that are in denial that your poor excuse for a club is heading back down into the cespit of English football in the next few seasons where you'll be able to duke it out in Yorkshire derbies twice a season with Rotherham and Bradford. Maybe even Farsley. Hey, if you play Farsley you can pretend it's Leeds and if you win you can pretend you got one over on us! Tell Harrogate Town and Guiseley you said "hi" when you go play them.

PS, Lloyd Sam is going to tear you to bits.

Hmm hard to tell. I reckon Sam is higher up the pecking order than White, but I guess Sam is more of a right winger. Nunez is going to turn them over I'm sure of it. I hope McCormack hasn't lost his confidence again after that **** showing against Boro.

Well you got a few bites at least Matt.

1- Most of us have said it'll be a close game. In fact most of the way off predictions have come from you lot. Probably a piss take but I can't tell if your serious or not judging by the responses about Grayson.

2- We had a decimated team at the start of last season and our poor start showed this. The parachute payments were put together into saving the club from going under. We had a scare in December and thanks to the Allams we were able to recover. Plus we have one greedy little pikey tosser on our books, who won't bugger off because he has a cushy number here, thanks to the inept display by our previous chairmen and money men. The revival after January was a good effort and a good basis of what we want to do this season. Unfortunately we weren't able to bring in everyone we wanted.

Lads lads lads, you're letting MattTheTiger get to you. He's obviously just on a bit of a windup tonight.

The main thing to remember about this game is that it's the Championship and anything can happen. I firmly believe that we have a stronger side, attacking and defending, than Leeds. But I am still very concerned about this game.

Aidan White might be amazing, but our right back is the best one in the league, so don't get your hopes up on that one. Nunez, Snodgrass and Keogh are the oens that worry me most, but I don't know a lot about Lloyd Sam in fairness. If your midfield, Clayton in particular, start getting a bit dirty in there then Tom Cairney might shy away from it a little bit and this worries me as his left foot is destructive when he's on the ball.

Regardless of what has been said on this thread, clayton isnt a dirty player, look at brown for that. He is more the type of player that picks that cutting ball through the defence. I like the more reasoned responses to be honest and i do think it will be a tight game and in fairness i think leeds have the better team espically in attack but we are down on confidence, could go either way really

    but hopefully leeds way

I still wouldn't call Clayton dirty. He gets stuck in though, not afraid to tackle. Lloyd Sam is as good as Gradel I'd say. He's confident enough in front of goal, he's not quite as tricky with the ball but he's quicker, and can pull off an absolutely killer cross. He's also more patient and has better vision I'd think. Last season in 20 appearances he got 3 goals, 12 of those appearances were as a sub, and he was plagued by injury for a lot of the season. Something he hopes to have resolved by doing endurance training on the muscle that was casuing him problems.

He really is a quality player and one we hoped to see more of, but his injuries showed up at the worst of times, particularly right when he was bang on form (start of the season) and right when Gradel and Snodgrass were getting tired towards the end of the season.

If we start with Sam, watch out for him. He's definitely a tricky one.

It was me who said he was dirty in this thread, based on what I've seen of him this season. He might not be by your standards, but I'm still worried that Cairney will be a bit scared of him.

You saw him against Southampton and Bradford presumably. The former, the whole team was terrible. It's unfair to judge our players on that, noone showed up. Against Bradford, he ran the show. He was running the show vs Boro until it all went to ****.

Maybe you consider anyone who puts in a tackle as 'dirty' then. Hes not scared of a tackle but i would lean more towards brown if your looking for a dirty player.
