South Asian subcontinent...Middle East covers Arab speaking countries. I bet your bird was Chinese, you just don't have a clue
I used to go out with a half Iranian girl. Smoking hot eyes and beautiful olive coloured skin (kalamata not the green ones.....) She was a ballet dancer too so she had a a nice little fit Bod. Shame she was as mad as a box of frogs really.
I also used to go out with a half Iranian girl... she was also a ****ing nutbar. Her mum chased me out of the house after me and the bird had a big row, she was hitting me on the back of the head on the way down the stairs as I left
With Halal meat do they (those who make the rules) care about the quality of life that the animal has had, or just the quality of death? Could you eat a battery chicken if it was killed the right way?
So there are no preservatives, or dirty water pumped into Halal chicken? Just asking 'cos it's cheaper than free range at Tesco and if it's not full of crap then I'll buy it. I was always under the impression that the killing of the animal was what made it halal. I've seen some massive chicken breasts, convinced they're pumped full of water.
Well to be honest, I don't buy my chicken or meats from Tesco or any other supermarkets, I go to a proper butcher and they are more expensive but I know the quality is good and from local farms etc. The thing with supermarkets is they might be selling the crap chickens but killed in a halal way but not raised in halal way, never really know with big chain supermarkets.
I think they are mate, full of water that is. It is the killing of the animal that makes it halal strictly speaking. I have purchased Tesco products I prefer going to the butchers though.
That's what I thought, they look huge... like the same size as turkey breasts. I go to the butchers if I'm making a nice dinner for folk, but I'm normally just putting coal in the fire. 500g of 5% steak mince from Tesco is £4, that's two breakfasts with eggs, I don't need the butcher for that ****, I'm just forcing it down... it's just nice to know what's going in I guess.
Nah, check it out Homer, there is two parts to it really, one to allow the animal to live a decent, natural and healthy life or as much as possible at least and the second part is the way you slaughter it for food...
You are no doubt right Flanders. I'm not sure if everyone adheres to that aspect of it though. I've seen Chicken farms run by Muslims....they don't seem great. People go for saving money, making money instead of the ethics of raising a chicken. Just people I guess.
