I responded when I saw the post.

Contrary to popular belief, I don't spend every waking moment reading threads on this board.

What I do for a living, and details of my past, those are things I choose not to divulge on a website. If other people choose to do so, that is there choice.

Plenty of threads that I have started have generated hard-hitting debate, but it has detracted from the fact that I started them off the back of a wum.

I had some sympathy for your point of view on this, and then you spoil it with this post. I actually think the thread was set up with a wum glance at Hiag - as usual from Piskie, but it had developed into something else and really should have stayed like that. But unfortunately it's probably spoiled now, and you have taken off down the same path that you are criticising. Should have stayed above that ****, then I would have had sympathy for your point of view.

Why does he care so much what Piskie thinks or says about him?
When by his own admission he talks ****, (He's a lawyer, his name is Tyler etc), if he isn't actually a lawyer, why the **** does he care if Piskie doesn't believe he is a lawyer, the guy makes no ****ing sense.

If Bod's opening post on this thread had been "Nice thread, Pix, but cut the **** aimed at HIAG, yeah?" and if when the rest of 'Pede followed up with their ****, Bod had written "Hey, lads! Cut out the **** aimed at HIAG, yeah?" he would have earned the right to get himself into a lather with me.

But he didn't do that.

What he did was to completely avoid any criticism of Pixie or the 'Pede, and launch into a diatribe against me.

Well, he can **** right off!

Oh I am sorry I didn't pick up on the one line in Piskie's OP that was a dig at you and derail the thread before it even got started by admonishing him.
You pretend to be a lawyer, he wanted to know what people ACTUALLY do, and not some smart mouth bullshit response.
If you have no interest in sharing any personal information on here, why did you even post on the thread in the first place?

 

I will often send out emails at crazy times, such as 8am on a Saturday, or 9pm on a Sunday.

Mine are genuinely sent at those times, though.

 

I used to have my works email routed to my smartphone.
Got pissed off with it within a fortnight and stopped it.
When I am home, I am home.
I am contactable by Skype in emergencies.

Yeah, I know a lot of people who have a complete blanket on after-hours calls/mail. It's the problem with modern technology that we can be contacted anywhere and at any time.

I don't mind dealing with work queries out of hours. With what I do, there isn't really any down-time, anyway.
