I've already told my colleague who supports West Ham that I don't think we'll win tomorrow but there was a little bit of self-preservation behind it. If we do lose, I can say that I told him I didn't expect us to win but if we win, he'll get loads of comments off me.
Hello Northolt would love it if you were right !, Did anyone tell you last saturday we let kids in for a quid! we always lose when we do that!
Not having seen us so far this season and not being able to listen to match commentary etc... I am not at all sure. My head says we will lose this. I do hope I am wrong....
Due to Watford being considered "under dogs" in this particular fixture, and the fact a large proportion are predicting a West Ham victory, combined with Watford being tipped for relegation and West Ham tipped for automatic promotion, taking into account the obvious Premiership quality of the West Ham team, multiplied by the huge away support West Ham receive, I predict Sean Dyche's first league victory as Hornets boss and an edgy 2-1 home win. The above statement is incorrect
Can't see there being a lot of goals in this. "Eliminate mistakes and make any chances that come pay" must be the dressing room message. An early break (or two) would help but my instinct says a draw.
Great thread once again AK . I am going for a draw 1-1 or 2-2 ... I would also shake up the starting line up a bit: Would like to see the same team as Derby with the following changes, bring in Walker and drop RJ, I have heard some good things about Walker and he may be the creative midfielder we need, throw him in at the deep end and see if he sinks or swims, sometimes a good performance against a top team is what it takes to give a player confidence and a chance to move forward! I would also start with Deeney instead of CI, we need someone hungry up front to chase the ball, we cannot afford to give the WH defence all the time to bring the ball out and pass to their high quality midfield .. I would even consider David Mirfin in place of AM, as much as I love AMs commitment and style he seems to be the one that makes the mistakes for the goals we concede, at the moment we are playing a similar back 4 to last year with CD as the new player, but even when we had Andrew Taylor last year we still leaked goals which has to stop if we want to move forward. What are your thoughts on the starting 11?
I would like to see Walker given a chance too. We do still need more options up front though, hope we are not finished in the transfer/loan market.
I really don't see us getting a change of fortune tonight My heart feels we have a chance but my head says no..... Also, I have a little nagging feeling that either Eustace or Dickinson won't last the distance & see red
