Unless the decision has already been made and they are just waiting to announce it when people return from holiday?
And I'm sure the project prople in this instance ate close in the club and see all fully aware. Just fir the record, us fans are thought of as the important people that need be constantly kept in the loop...
All I remember of Van Bronchorst as a player is him getting a second yellow and an early bath for diving, when playing for Arsenal v Liverpool. Only time I've ever stood up (in the pub) and applauded a referee.
Everything is pointing to Thursday/Friday as announcement day. Bury the reappointment of Steve Wigley in the Election fanfare...
The truth is we can't make decisions as we don't have all the facts..........We don't know if they have decided to sell the best players............We don't know if we still have a manager.................and we don't know if the take over is likely to go ahead. Any decision has to be based on the Known Facts not hearsay. All any of us are doing is surmising and offering opinions........... Edit .....sorry forgot .......we do know they have let 4 players go..........
Is this the Brexit thread? Not sure I wholly agree with no decision is always the worst. If this non-decision is reached through inertia, maybe. But if you decide not to make a decision this could be a great decision. Well, come on, the waters were getting pretty murky. We don't know if a decision has been made or not. Claude Puel has earned the right to be treated with dignity. If everyone is lining up their ducks before a decision is announced this seems fair enough. I won't be saying this by Christmas, mind!
You are right the current manager does deserve to be treated with dignity...........If they are backing him an announcement to that fact should have been made.......just to stop all this media nonsense. It appears though they have another agenda........Which to my mind is disrespectful to the new manager. No doubt we will find out before the season kicks off....till then I guess we will twiddle our thumbs and speculate.......
I have no idea. But like I have been saying for a month? months? He is gone. He will most probably go back to France. His wife hated it here.
Couldn't blame her. Bloody cold half the year [oh yes it is compared to southern France], and unfortunately there's all these English people about the place.
