Good hearted lad, the media blitz could be blamed for propelling these lads through the lack of talent we had or just to line a few pockets which seems apt. One thing about Gary like, he could write a good song..<ok>

Watching the Manchester gig and after Robbie Williams finished the tart the BBC are using between artists said the was a difficult song for Robbie to sing, I dont know how he got through it.
FFS its the patents of these poor kids who are waiting to bury their children who are having difficulties not some knob artist.
I detest the BBC and their sickofantic (spelling) staff who are so left wing they make me want to vomit with their stupid comments.
This concert should be about the grieving relatives and kids still in hospital and not about the artists taking part FFS.

As an oldie I have no time for this kind of thing so soon after a tragic event. As rightly pointed out the parents and loved ones have yet to bury some of those killed and this represents nothing but a party. Claiming it is a tribute to those killed and a sign to terrorists that they will not win just does not ring true either.

The only thing missing is Gerry and the Pacemakers killing a beautiful song.

Which just goes to show you can't please everybody every time.

Don't you think that the families of those killed at Manchester wouldn't have been invited there as special guests, even if they hadn't yet buried their loved ones?

The concert was organised in good faith Nostalgic.

Why can't it be recognised as such?

It very well maybe seen as a tribute to the dead, or a defiance to the terrorists, but I detect more than a hint of publicity seeking could be at the back of it. Seeing people laughing, singing and drinking beer hardly adds up as a tribute. The only thing missing is a tribute from a Kardashian, but there may be time for that yet.

It's how this younger generation defies their enemies in the face of hate.

Earlier generations would have done it differently mate but it's a different world today.

And just in case you hadn't picked it up in the news, last night, our kids threw chairs, bottles and anything at hand at terrorists.

They showed their mettle last night. In a different way to our fathers, but no less brave in the circumstance.

I have been following the news and picked up on how the terrorists were driven off by people and that s to be commended as they showed some spirit that goes back to 1914 and 1940 to answer your analogy.

The swiftness of the terrorists being bumped off though was the reaction by the police who were doubtless guided by the CCTV operators. The whole public service and British public spiritedness deserve all the praise.

All of the emergency services did an awesome job last night, as they do every night mate, from the guys who pulled the triggers to the guys who saved lives.

There's just not enough of them.

And that needs to be fixed. Soon!!

Australia are doing that at the moment on Manus and Nauru and it's tearing the country apart from the inside.

Violating people's human rights probably isn't the way to go. It's likely going to see a rise in anti west driven extremism and more people dead.

but no actual terror attacks in Australia,if you open the doors it will flood with gods knows how many undesirables, as far as i know the only people with broken hearts are asylum seekers and the PC brigade, as far as human rights go its a laugh when a rapist or murderer uses human rights not to be deported.as far as LIKELY to see a rise in anti west, well mate we are experiencing that now and we dont have internment, so no totally dont agree with you

Yeah there's been terror attacks in Australia. Not too sure where you got the impression there hadn't but there has.

You can't deport someone from their own country. Simple as that. White christians have no more claim to the UK than British Asian muslims and nor should they. We're not talking about asylum seekers we're talking about British nationals.

You don't agree that violating muslim's human rights when they haven't yet committed a crime would leave to anti west driven extremism? Not too sure what world you live in if that's the case. Things can get much, much worse.

Kicking a few doors down and making arrests after the event is futile. We have to do something proactive here to stop these attacks.

What that thing is I do not know.

What I do know is that the government makes the law here, so if there is something that we can't do then we change the law so we can do it. It is not going to stop itself. We have to stop it

I agree that something needs to be done. I just don't think violating human rights and pissing off potential terrorists as well as just normal, decent, innocent people isn't the way to go.

I would have agreed with you until the weekend
But right now I care as much about their human rights as they do about ours

Sorry, I don't usually engage in conversations like this, but right now I am really angry. The video posted above shows me that it is very far from being a few radicalised people

    Exactly.

One day people will have to put the effort in to learn about these important facts Instead of waving their arms around in gusto and emotional bravado fist pumping and feeding the agenda of these devisive cults and the right wing sympathisers in our midst.

My family is also a target for these people. They have killed more Muslims than Non Muslims as a whole. I've heard people say things like 'well they can kill their own people' opinions like that just further alienate the normal Muslims and show that really innocent killing is not the issue...happening far too close to home is, for many people. Priorities and intentions all mixed up if you ask me.
