....... but I'm already starting to look at the map and planning a few trips next season.

Reading is 28 miles from here so that's my banker but there's a few other interesting London games ..... Fulham, Millwall, Brentford, QPR, etc.

Then there are old favourites like Leeds, Sheff Utd, Forest, etc.

Burton will be a nice one and it looks like most of my games will be away.

As we always have a good away support it's usually better crack than home games with more singing etc.

Hopefully, there will be some good away turn outs at the SOL, better than some of the PL efforts.

I'm buzzing, as norwich resident with no SAFC fans to travel to games with, I very rarely get to see the lads live. Norwich away will be circled in my diary the day the fixtures come out, I can almost watch the game from my balcony <laugh>

I'm hoping for a big away day to kick the season off.

If we can take an away win into the first home game the atmosphere will be better imo.

The home supporters had very little to cheer about and the SOL became a tense place to play.

Its a scary place to go. We were in a pub no bother at all and it started filling with locals. A few beers later and a particular song came on the jukebox the landlord advised us that was our cue to leave. 12 of us 30 of them and after a few beers we almost were stupid enough to give it a go. Anyway somebody still had their sensible head on and said lets bail out and we did. There was no goading or anything from them and we walked out chanting footy songs but it deffo could have got nasty.

Id love Millwall away tickets is not a sentence I will use very often in the future.:emoticon-0100-smile

That must have been a while ago mate. I lived between New Cross/Bermondsey for three years during uni and it was full of art school students. It's gone the way of hackney. Gentrified to ****.

TBH, I couldn't help if it wasn't for the various people who help me.

Having said that, I'll always back mesel to get into any ground.

I was at Chelsea, went into the ground then came out to get a lad in without a ticket.

I came back out again and helped another lad ......
...... when I arrived home Mrs Smug wondered how I'd managed to eat, get drunk and come home with more money than I left with <laugh>

I'll always help decent lads to get in mate, you'll be fine.

Remember from years ago a TV journalist went back to the old Milwall ground and told tales about the attitude of fans. There were those who did nothing more than go to the match for fight and if there was no opposition fans to fight they would do so between themselves.
