That's understandable. It's also completely natural. Just plan it, leave no stone unturned (I know you wouldn't anyway) and just relax and enjoy it. Get over with your better half and next year we'll have a lads trip if you are up for it and the circumstances are right.
Sounds good mate. Yeah, I'd love a lads trip but my bollocks would be on the block if I left my lady at home first trip away Especially to Amsterdam too! I used to do a lot of gigs all over the country, I'll surprise you here, The only organisation was buying the tickets. Everything else I just wing it. Can't do that overseas so you may get a PM from me for guidance if that's ok with you?
Haha, yeah of course mate. I'll send you a list of places to see and pointers when you are going over there.
Yeh me too We are off to stalis in Crete for 2 weeks 27th June. We are already booked for next year in zante for our michaels 65 th bash
Might have mentioned this before but my younger brother wasnt too clever with computers at the time and he asked me to book him n his 2 mates into a triple or family room in Amsterdam as close to the square as poss. Found one asked him if he wanted to read the small print to see if he was OK with it but no just go ahead and book it he said. Got a txt a few days later saying " you fat b*stard" you knew it was a gay f*cking hotel. 3 of them strolling into the brekkie room with a load of gay men staring at them. Surprisingly he has booked his own hols since then.
Love Orlando, Prague a very close second although a totally different kind of holiday and place. Worst. Probably Egypt although I loved seeing the pyramids.
We want to get married in Miami, Planning on dropping in on Orlando before we leave for New York(Big trip which is why we need a small break first) have you been to the rainbow river by any chance?
We don't have holidays like normal people but we have some incredible adventures. Every year we arrange a delivery, in our Transit van, to places in Italy, Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica etc ....... then we find a load to come back to the UK. It takes us to places you'd never otherwise find and we've seen some incredible things. We did 4,500 miles on a recent trip to Uggiano La Chiesa on the very heel of Italy ...... it was an absolute paradise with wonderful humble people. On the way back we visited the grave of my Great Uncle, near Venice, who died in 1918 two weeks before the end of the war. When we left we went over the snow covered mountains into Austria, what a joy ..... the only other vehicle we saw was a snow plough!
Best holiday was a trip to Sri Lanka. Worst holiday was a week in Butlins. That was certainly an eye opener ha! Went to Iceland this year which was absolutely stunning. Portugal was nice but too many English folk around which was a bit of a downer. Off to Greece in October which I'm hoping will be nice.
Went kayaking with our lass on Coniston yesterday i got about 20yds out before i capsized and our lass about 2yds so we said f uck it went for dinner at Brantwood ( been completely gutted and refitted very nice ) had a walk up to Tarn Hows then back to the Yewdale for a couple.
